November 7, 2025 — Highline region

King County Elections released a fourth ballot drop on Friday. The tightest contest remains the Highline School Board District 3 race, where Katie Kresly continues to hold a narrow lead over Joe Van. The gap is now just 75 votes, and the race will likely go to a recount if the pattern holds.

Two races that flipped earlier in the week have widened. Edwin Obras has expanded his advantage over Kevin Schilling in the 33rd Legislative District, and Angelica Alverez has increased her lead over Sue-Ann Hohimer in Highline District 2.

Most other contests and ballot measures appear largely unchanged as counting continues.

So far, King County Elections reports 24,141 ballots counted in the Highline School District, out of 79,169 registered voters, reflecting 30.49% turnout to date.
