The DESC Bloomside Community Advisory Committee will hold its next meeting on Tuesday, April 14, 2026, from 3:30 to 4:15 p.m. at the Bloomside Conference Room in Burien.
Jan 13 was the date of the last Community Advisory Committee Meeting. At this time, neighbors expressed concerns about drug use, treatment, and safety.
Community members are invited to attend on April 14. The agenda includes a public Q&A session, program updates, and a discussion of neighborhood engagement efforts.

Ongoing community oversight
The Bloomside Advisory Committee serves as a regular forum for communication between DESC staff and the surrounding community. Meetings typically include updates on operations and an opportunity for residents to ask questions or share concerns.
DESC supports the committee by recording and distributing meeting minutes, posting agendas and materials online, scheduling accessible meeting spaces, and providing translation services as needed.
