Summer is winding down, and music lovers in the Highline area have two final opportunities to enjoy live outdoor music this Sunday, Aug. 30.
The Tukwila Farmers Market will feature live music earlier in the day, while Normandy Park will close out its summer Concerts in the Park series with an afternoon and evening of jazz.
Tukwila’s Farmers Market will combine local shopping, fresh produce and live music on Sunday, Aug. 30.

The market runs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., with singer and songwriter Savanna Woods performing from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
According to the market’s website, Woods is a powerhouse vocalist and soulful songwriter whose music blends raw emotion with folk, rock, and cinematic pop. Her heartfelt sound is described as a fitting soundtrack for a Sunday morning.
The market will also feature vendors offering fresh produce and other goods.

Later Sunday afternoon, Normandy Park will wrap up its summer-long Concerts in the Park series with a Jazz Finale featuring three different jazz ensembles.
