A hands-on opportunity to learn how to teach beginning and struggling readers is coming to West Seattle on Saturday, November 22. Retired Seattle Public Schools teacher Robert Femiano, known for decades of work helping students build strong reading foundations, will lead a free community workshop designed for parents, tutors, volunteers, and anyone who wants to help others become confident readers.

Femiano will guide participants step by step through his proven, explicit approach to reading instruction. Attendees will also receive a free PDF copy of Scientific Phonics, his comprehensive, classroom-tested method that includes all activities needed to begin effective reading instruction right away.

This workshop is open to everyone and free of charge. Those interested may contact rfemiano@gmail.com for more information.
