DES MOINES – The Highline Department of Public Safety invites residents to celebrate National Coffee with a Cop Day by sharing a cup of coffee and conversation with local police officers.

The event takes place:

Wednesday, October 1, 2025 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM Highline College, Building 8 2400 S 240th St, Des Moines, WA 98198

There will be no formal presentation. Instead, this is a casual opportunity for South King County residents to meet their local officers, ask questions, and discuss the topics that matter most to them.

Coffee with a Cop events are designed to strengthen trust, improve communication, and build positive relationships between the community and law enforcement. These informal conversations help ensure that officers and residents alike have the chance to listen and learn from one another.

This free event is open to the public. All are welcome to attend.
