Free family-friendly movies | This Friday: Movie Migration
Families and community members are invited to enjoy free outdoor movies under the stars this summer as Discover Burien presents its annual Movies in the Park series at Burien Town Square on Friday evenings during August and into the middle of September.

Friday, August 28: Migration
Migration is an animated adventure comedy released in 2023 about the Mallard family, a family of ducks who have always lived safely on a quiet pond. The father, Mack (Kumail Nanjiani) , is very protective and worries that leaving their home could put the family in danger. His wife, Pam (Elizabeth Banks), wants their children to experience the wider world.
Eventually, the family decides to migrate south for the winter. Along the way, they encounter dangerous situations and meet other birds. Their journey takes them from their familiar pond to New York City and eventually to Jamaica.
As the family faces challenges, Mack learns to overcome his fears and trust his family. The adventure brings them closer together and teaches them that trying new things can be scary but also rewarding.
Know before you go...
Attendees are encouraged to bring blankets and lawn chairs and make an evening of it by grabbing dinner before settling in for the movie.
Dogs are welcome but must be on a leash.
Bring the family, spread out a blanket, and enjoy a movie night in the park.
