A favorite SeaTac fall tradition is back! The Great Pumpkin Night returns on Friday, October 17, from 5:00 to 8:00 PM at the SeaTac Community Center, 13735 24th Ave. S., promising an evening packed with family fun, community spirit, and plenty of pumpkin-themed cheer. Admission and activities are free!

Kids can enjoy face painting, bouncy houses, and hands-on activities, while parents watch and mingle with neighbors and friends. Local first responders from the Puget Sound Regional Fire Authority and SeaTac Police Department will be on hand. Everyone’s invited to stop by and say hello to the friendly crews.

Guests are encouraged to come dressed in costumes or festive October attire. The night wraps up with a free outdoor movie screening of Pixar’s Elio (2025) at 7:30 PM, complete with complimentary popcorn.

New this year is a community-minded Costume Swap organized by SeaTac Public Works. The swap gives residents a chance to exchange gently used or outgrown costumes and accessories instead of buying new ones, reducing waste while keeping fun alive.

Donations are being accepted now through the event at City Hall (4800 S. 188th St.) and the SeaTac Community Center (13735 24th Ave. S.). Clean, good-condition costumes of all sizes — from infants to adults — are welcome (no broken zippers, mildew, or strong odors; intentional tears are okay). No donation is required to participate.

Admission and activities are free, and food vendors will be on-site. Whether you’re trading costumes, painting pumpkins, or catching the movie, The Great Pumpkin Night is the perfect way to celebrate fall with the SeaTac community.
