This last Monday evening, we joined Councilmember Alex Andrade and the Burien City Council, where The More We Love was asked to accept the Sexual Assault Awareness Month proclamation. We were deeply honored to be recognized for the work we do every day.
Our ability to provide victim services alongside law enforcement has become a critical part of this work. When a call comes in, our role is to respond quickly, meet that victim in the moment, bring them to safety, and begin walking with them through what comes next.
Because what people often do not see is the aftermath. The fear. The uncertainty. The weight of what has just happened and all the steps that follow. It is a deeply vulnerable space, and no one should have to walk through that alone.
That is where we stand in the gap.
We walk alongside victims, ensuring they are safe, supported, and cared for as they begin to take their next steps forward.
Grateful to serve alongside our law enforcement partners and this community, continuing to show up 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, when it matters most.
Be Someone’s Constant.

About The More We Love
Love, Empathy, Understanding, Connection, Action
At The More We Love ("TMWL"), we believe that every person deserves to be treated with compassion, respect, and dignity. We walk alongside the most vulnerable in their greatest time of need, offering them the support, care, and resources they need to rebuild meaningful lives.
Those impacted by homelessness often experience deeply traumatic events which lead to addiction and mental health challenges. We build trust, advocate for these individuals, and provide them with the love, appropriate resources, and care they need to heal and thrive.
Putting the "home" back into homelessness means building a foundation, creating personal connections, and aligning the right resources for continued growth. Our holistic approach means providing resources and support in all human areas such as physical & mental health, diet & exercise, recovery, vocational training, and spiritual growth to help people transform their lives. Our partners get us for life. We love them until they learn to love themselves.
Community involvement is key to creating real change. We empower people from all walks of life to get involved and make a difference, whether it's through volunteer opportunities, advocacy campaigns, or education and awareness initiatives.
At TMWL, we are committed to bringing hope, dignity, and a brighter future to individuals and families in need. We believe that everyone deserves a chance to thrive, and we are honored to be able to walk alongside those who are on the journey to getting back on their feet.
“Connecting The Community to Those in Greatest Need.”
