The Burien/Highline Food Bank receives a generous donation from the residents of Three Tree Point and reminds the community that they are always accepting donations and seeking volunteers.

The Three Tree Point Community came together this fall to collect both food and monetary donations to support the Burien/Highline area Food Bank (https://highlineareafoodbank.org). Donations were collected over two weeks and, in total, raised $270 cash and about 13 grocery carts worth of shelf-stable, non-perishable items to help our neighbors get through the holiday season. (photos from each below) Donors include: TTP donors: Nanci Leonard, Joyce Simmonds, Marco Spani, Jim Laughlin, Jackie Probach, Sue Reed, Lan Bausano, Dawn Lemmel, and Carol Jacobson; broader donors: Nena Robertson, Shannon Dallyn, Kylie Davies, Tara McQuiston, Heather Larsen, Megan Whitney, Alina Forster

The food bank is always accepting donations and seeking volunteers (donation ideas are listed on their website). If you are interested in helping, their director can be reached at: HighlineFB@gmail.com, or swing by the facility in Normandy Park right behind the fire station!

**This is a non-profit, so donations are tax-deductible.
