Community members and veterans are invited to gather near the Blue Star Memorial Garden at City Hall for a morning of remembrance and fellowship.
Normandy Park will host a Veterans Day Open House on Tuesday, November 10, from 10 a.m. to noon, inviting veterans, neighbors, and community members to come together in recognition of those who have served our country.
The open-house-style gathering will take place near the Blue Star Memorial Garden at Normandy Park City Hall. Special guests will include representatives from the Parkside Garden Club and the Des Moines Memorial Drive Preservation Association.
The event offers an opportunity to connect with fellow veterans and neighbors while recognizing the contributions and sacrifices of those who served in the military.
The celebration will take place on Tuesday because Normandy Park City Hall will be closed Wednesday, November 11, for Veterans Day.
