Normandy Park is gearing up for one of its most cherished holiday traditions as Winterfest returns on Saturday, December 6, 2025. From 4:00 to 7:00 p.m., families, neighbors, and visitors are invited to gather at the Normandy Park Towne Center for an evening filled with festive cheer, community spirit, and the magic of the season.
This year marks the 13th Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony, a milestone that continues to draw crowds eager to watch the town’s sparkling tree come to life. Adding to the excitement is the much-anticipated arrival of Santa, who brings joy to children of all ages. Free Santa hats, live music, crafts, a scavenger hunt with prizes, and even a dusting of snow promise to make the evening unforgettable.
The celebration begins early for those who want to visit Santa before the main festivities. From 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., Manhattan Village QFC will host Santa visits, carolers, and hands-on holiday crafts—perfect for families looking to start the day with some warm seasonal fun.
Winterfest is made possible by the dedicated efforts of volunteers and community partners. Those interested in helping or sponsoring the event can contact Susan West at 206-818-6945. Overflow parking for the evening will be available at Marvista School to ensure smooth access for the community.
With glowing lights, cheerful music, and activities for all ages, Winterfest continues to serve as a joyful reminder of what makes Normandy Park such a welcoming place to call home.
