One of Burien’s most cherished community traditions is returning this summer as the annual Strawberry Festival takes over Burien Town Square Park for a weekend filled with live entertainment, family activities, delicious food, local vendors, and community spirit.
The festival will be held Saturday, June 20, and Sunday, June 21, bringing together residents and visitors for two days of fun in the heart of downtown Burien.

Saturday Highlights
Saturday’s festivities include several hands-on attractions designed for younger visitors and families:
- Petting Zoo – Children can meet and interact with a variety of friendly animals.
- Touch-a-Truck – Kids will have the opportunity to explore large trucks and specialty vehicles up close.
Sunday Traditions
Sunday features two of the festival’s most anticipated annual events:
- B-Town Derby Box Car Races – Young racers will put their homemade cars to the test as they race downhill in this longtime Strawberry Festival tradition.(sign up here)
- Father’s Day Car Show – Car enthusiasts can admire an impressive collection of classic cars, hot rods, and custom vehicles on display.
