Families are invited to enjoy an evening of costumes, games, crafts, and seasonal fun at The Great Pumpkin Night on Friday, Oct. 16, at the SeaTac Community Center. Children can enjoy a variety of activities, meet local first responders, and find a new-to-them costume at the community costume swap.
The Great Pumpkin Night
Friday, Oct. 16, 2026
5–8 p.m.
SeaTac Community Center
13735 24th Avenue South
The Puget Sound Regional Fire Authority and SeaTac Police will be on hand, giving families a chance to stop by, say hello, and meet the friendly first responders who serve their community.
Activities for the Whole Family
There will be plenty to keep kids entertained throughout the evening, including:
- Activities and crafts for children
- Face painting
- Bouncy houses
- A family-friendly movie beginning at 7:30 p.m., with popcorn
- Food vendors, which may be available for purchases
Costumes are encouraged, so come ready to celebrate the season and enjoy an evening of fall festivities with family and neighbors.
Find a New Costume at the Costume Swap
The Great Pumpkin Night also offers families an opportunity to exchange outgrown costumes and accessories for something new to them.
Beginning Sept. 16, the City of SeaTac will accept donations of gently used, clean costumes in all sizes, from infants to adults. Donations can be dropped off at either of these locations:
SeaTac City Hall
4800 South 188th Street
SeaTac Community Center
13735 24th Avenue South
Costume donations will also be accepted during The Great Pumpkin Night event.
Please make sure donated items are in good condition, without broken zippers, mildew, or strong odors. Intentional tears are acceptable.
Everyone is welcome to participate in the costume swap. Families do not need to donate a costume to take one home, making this a great opportunity for everyone to find something new for the season.
Bring the family, enjoy the fall activities, and celebrate the season with the SeaTac community!
