I’m Christopher Martinez. I’m a mechanic, a husband and a lifelong Washingtonian who knows what it means to start over and fight for something better.

I grew up in a low income family. My mother raised me and my three sisters on very little. I made bad choices as a young man and paid for them with nearly ten years in the system, starting when I was thirteen. I’ve been locked up, broke, and written off. By God’s grace and a lot of hard work, I turned it around. I cleared my record, restored my rights, paid off tens of thousands in debt, bought a home, and built a life with my wife. I’m an Automotive Technician, my career is to diagnose and fix the issues I’m faced with, and that is exactly what I will do in Olympia. I understand what working families in this district are dealing with because I’ve live it.

That’s why I’m running. The people of LD 33 — Burien, Des Moines, Normandy Park, SeaTac, and eastern Kent — deserve a representative who will fight for them instead of for Olympia’s special interests. For too long, this district has been represented by politicians who raise taxes, expand government, and push policies that make life harder for the people who actually live and work here.

My priorities are straightforward:

  • Lower taxes and a better climate for small businesses. Working families and local businesses are getting squeezed. I’ll push back against new taxes and unnecessary regulations that drive up costs and kill jobs.
  • Public safety. People deserve to feel safe in their neighborhoods. I’ll support law enforcement, oppose policies that coddle criminals, and focus on keeping our streets safer.
  • Parental rights and better education. Parents — not the state — should have the primary say in their children’s upbringing and schooling. I’ll stand against ideological experiments in our schools and for real academic standards and parental involvement.
  • Protecting the Second Amendment. Law-abiding citizens should be able to exercise their right to keep and bear arms without constant interference from Olympia.
  • Faith, family, and personal responsibility. Strong families and personal accountability build strong communities. Government should support that, not undermine it.

I’m not a career politician. I’m a blue-collar guy who has been down and gotten back up. I know what it takes to build something real, and I’m ready to take that same approach to Olympia — practical, accountable, and focused on results for the people of LD 33.

Ballots are coming. I ask for your vote so we can put common sense back in charge.

I'm Chris Martinez, the candidate who will stand up for the working class and blue collar workers, together we can change our state for the better!
