Survey Information from the City of Des Moines:
Thank you for taking a moment to share your input on the future of Des Moines and help us chart our course!
The City is inviting everyone in the community to participate in developing its first strategic plan and your feedback is crucial.
A strategic plan is like a map that captures our community’s shared vision and lays out the goals and priorities that will guide City decisions, investments and services over the next few years. This short survey will help us understand what matters most to you.
A strategic plan helps us to answer three questions:
- What do we know to be true today? Who are we as a City?
- What do hope will be true in the future? Where do we want to go as a City?
- What must go well in order to make it so? How are we going to achieve it?
In addition to this survey, all community members are invited to participate in a town hall meeting on Tuesday, December 9 from 6-8 PM at Des Moines Elementary. Childcare will be provided.
We estimate the survey will take approximately 10 minutes to complete. We appreciate your time and thoughtful responses.
