Normandy Park’s yards are already dressed for Halloween, and a family celebration at The Cove adds to the weekend fun.
Trunk or Treat at The Cove: Friday, October 30
The Normandy Park Community Club hosts its Trunk or Treat Family Halloween Party from 6–8 p.m. Friday, October 30, at 1500 SW Shorebrook Drive.
Families can enjoy indoor and outdoor activities, games, music, prizes and treats. Participants can decorate their vehicles and hand out candy, with a prize recognizing decorating effort. Visit The Cove’s calendar for details.
Fright the Park: Take a Look Around
The decorating is done, so take a drive around Normandy Park to enjoy neighbors’ Halloween creativity through Saturday, October 31.
The Arts Commission’s new Fright the Park program recognizes festive and spooky home displays with special yard signs. Recognition was scheduled for October 24, but the community is invited to enjoy the decorated yards throughout Halloween week.
There’s no scheduled gathering to attend. Simply look around town and enjoy the displays from public streets and sidewalks. Learn more about Fright the Park on the city’s website.
