Free family-friendly movies | Tonight's movie: Despicable Me 4

Families and community members are invited to enjoy free outdoor movies under the stars this summer as Discover Burien presents its annual Movies in the Park series at Burien Town Square on Friday evenings during August and into the middle of September.

Movies begin at dusk, which organizers say is currently around 8:30 p.m.

Friday, August 14: Despicable Me 4

In Despicable Me 4, reformed supervillain Gru and his family go into witness protection after his vengeful high school rival, Maxime Le Mal, escapes prison. While hiding under new identities, Gru tries to bond with his mischievous new baby, Gru Jr., and the Anti-Villain League tests a new "Mega Minions" superhero initiative

The animated comedy features the voices of Steve Carell as Gru and Will Ferrell as Maxime.

Know before you go...

Attendees are encouraged to bring blankets and lawn chairs and make an evening of it by grabbing dinner before settling in for the movie.

Dogs are welcome but must be on a leash.

Bring the family, spread out a blanket, and enjoy a movie night in the park.
