Pet Photos with Santa in Des Moines - Dec 14

The holiday spirit is set to shine bright in Des Moines as two local businesses, A Dog’s Dream and Marina Mercantile, team up to host an afternoon of family-friendly festivities. Mark your calendars for Sunday, December 14, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Pet Portraits will be taken at A Dog's Dream, 22327 Des Moines View Drive. And Marina Mercantile will host a Cocoa & Cookie Decorating Event at the same time. Please reserve your place at each event.

Residents and visitors alike are invited to enjoy holiday activities designed to bring joy to both humans and their furry companions.

At A Dog’s Dream,  pets can take center stage with Pet Portraits with Santa. For just $20, guests will receive a digital photo. Photos are taken by a professional photographer and edited before being emailed to participants in the days after the event.

 All proceeds for the event benefit Pregnancy Aid Des Moines, a local organization supporting families in need. Reservations are encouraged and can be made by calling 206-302-8394.

Just a short stroll away, Marina Mercantile, located at 22341 Marine View Dr S, will be offering a sweet seasonal escape with Cocoa & Cookies. Families can warm up with delicious hot chocolate and enjoy cookie decorating—a simple, festive activity that brings out the holiday creativity in all ages. To reserve space, call 206-651-7526.
