The holiday spirit is sparkling in SeaTac, and the community is invited to join in the festive fun at this year’s SeaTac Winterfest, coming up this week! Mark your calendars for Friday, December 5, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m., as the SeaTac Community Center, which is located at 13735 24th Ave. S. transforms into a cheerful winter wonderland.
This free, family-friendly celebration promises something for everyone. The tree lighting happens at 5:15 p.m., a moment that brings neighbors together in the glow of the season. Throughout the event, guests can enjoy the sounds of joyful carolers, visit with Santa Claus and take photos, and explore a variety of kids’ crafts perfect for little hands and big imaginations. Exciting bouncy houses will keep the young—and young at heart—laughing and playing all night long.
As the evening winds down, families are invited to settle in for a special showing of the animated holiday favorite “Abominable” at 7:30 p.m. It’s the perfect cozy ending to a night filled with community, celebration, and holiday magic.

Bring your friends, your family, and your festive spirit to the SeaTac Community Center and help kick off the season with joy. Come dressed in your holiday spirit. All activities are free. Food vendors may be present. We can’t wait to see you there!
