SeaTac Community Center was a beehive of activity last Friday night, December 5th, during the city's annual Winterfest celebration. Residents and families from around the region congregated to share in the holiday fun.
It all started with a magical tree lighting in front of the building while "snow bubbles" fell on the onlookers. Inside, families were lined up to visit Santa and take their photos with him. There were lots of holiday-themed activities to choose from, and many were captured in the pictures below. Kids had their faces painted, and others waited for balloon animals to take shape.
Families designed their own Christmas ornaments and hung them on a tree. The gym was full of giant bouncy toys, too. While all this was going on, joyful carolers sang beautiful music, dressed like they came out of a scene from a Charles Dickens novel.
SeaTac Winterfest is an annual community tradition with so much fun for the whole family.
