After months of rebuilding from flooding that damaged the clinic in April, Skinperfect Aesthetics celebrated its grand re-opening Friday with a ribbon-cutting ceremony hosted by Discover Burien.
About 20 people attended the celebration, including representatives from Discover Burien, Burien City Councilmember Alex Andrade, former Burien City Councilmember Stephanie Mora, longtime clients, friends, and community supporters who gathered to welcome the business back.
Guests toured the refreshed clinic, enjoyed champagne, and received thank-you gifts including floppy sun hats, beach bags, and special incentives to return.
For owner Darla Green, the afternoon was about more than reopening the doors.
"This has been a long road," Green told The Highline Journal. "We've been here 21 years, and we're not going anywhere."
Green also thanked the community for standing behind the business during the months of rebuilding.
"After the flooding that impacted our clinic in April, your encouragement and faith gave us the strength to rebuild and reopen."
The celebration reflected that community support. Clients who have visited Skinperfect Aesthetics for years joined neighbors and local leaders to celebrate the return of a locally owned business that chose to rebuild and continue serving Burien.
Skinperfect Aesthetics, located at 636 SW 152nd St., Suite D, has served the Burien community for more than 21 years.
