Get ready for a frightfully fun afternoon as Spooky Town returns to Steve Cox Memorial Park on Saturday, October 25, from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. The Annual King County Parks Halloween Carnival promises family-friendly thrills, creative activities, and a few spooky surprises—all free for the community to enjoy!
Families can stroll through the park and take part in a variety of festive activities, including:
- Carnival Games hosted by WC Teen Program Volunteers
- Spooky Town Crafts and take-home art kits
- Fall Scavenger Hunt adventure around the park
- Photo Ops at several themed displays
- Dragon Eye Hunt on the multipurpose field
- A visit to the Pumpkin Patch for a free pumpkin and a chance to vote for the favorite pumpkin of 2025. Try out the obstacle course too.
- The Underground Spooky Town Tour through the basement of the Historic White Center Field House (fun for all ages)
- The Haunted Crypt Tour, recommended for ages 10 and up
Guests can warm up with hot cider, hot cocoa, and hot dogs, courtesy of the Dub Sea Fish Sticks, and enjoy Trunk or Treating with the Easy Duz It Car Club.
All activities and giveaways are free while supplies last, but attendees are encouraged to bring food or cash donations to support the White Center Food Bank.
