Yesterday’s Election Day ended with many parties and campaign celebrations through-out Washington State, while others hold out and await possible votes, yet to be counted, to hopefully change the tide in their favor. PDC and King County websites slowed or crashed in the final days of voting, leaving many voters without access to essential transparency tools.

Burien Resident points out this election shows a clear pattern -- some Burien candidates are funded by local residents, while others depend almost entirely on outside donors.

With Election Day on Tuesday, November 4, both state and postal officials are warning voters not to rely on mailing ballots at the last minute.
