Should Washington keep or repeal its new income tax?

Washington State Labor Council, AFL-CIO President April Sims, who supports the Millionaire income tax and encourages a NO vote on Initiative 645, and former U.S. Representative Jaime Herrera Beutler, who supports a YES vote to repeal the income tax, debated on Thursday, October 8.

KING 5 and The Seattle Times hosted the debate, with KING 5 anchor Joyce Taylor and Seattle Times political reporter Jim Brunner served as moderators.
