Save the Date on May 16 for Woven Together: Folk Threads Through Choral Music. A unique performance put on by ChoralSounds and TeenSounds ensembles.
Music has a unique way of connecting people across generations and cultures, and this May, audiences have the opportunity to experience that connection firsthand through Woven Together. Two local ensembles, ChoralSounds and TeenSounds, will combine their talents to create this program, filled with American folk music. Both choirs are under the umbrella of Northwest Associated Arts.
Woven Together: Folk Threads Through Choral Music
ChoralSounds and TeenSounds will “weave together” a rich tapestry of Americana folk traditions, creating a performance that reflects the spirit of shared heritage that has shaped American choral music. The concert provides an engaging opportunity for audiences of all ages to experience the depth and variety of this musical genre.
Tickets are $20 and are available online or at the door. Youth ages 17 and under can attend for free when accompanied by a paying adult, making this an accessible and family-friendly event.
