The King County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help identifying a suspect in an assault that occurred during a June 10 demonstration at Southwest 148th Street and Ambaum Boulevard Southwest in Burien.

On Tuesday, June 17, detectives released a photo of the suspect and asked anyone with information to call 206-296-3311.

According to the Sheriff's Office, an altercation occurred during an anti-ICE demonstration at the intersection. Detectives say the suspect punched another man several times before leaving the area.

The update comes less than a week after The Highline Journal reported on the incident involving an 80-year-old military veteran who said he was surrounded, shouted at, and forced to the ground while holding a sign supporting ICE.
