Get Involved in Your Community!
Looking for a meaningful way to make a difference in your community? The City is currently seeking passionate, community-minded individuals to serve in the following roles:
Parks Commission – Partial Term (expires in June 2029):
Help shape the future of our parks, green spaces, and recreational programs. This is a great opportunity to step in mid-term and make an immediate impact! Meetings are on the 3rd Wednesday of every month at 7:00 p.m.
Arts Commission – Full 3-Year Term (Begins January 2026):
Bring your creativity, vision, and love for the arts to a team dedicated to promoting and supporting public art and cultural initiatives across the city.
Whether you’re a long-time resident or new to town, serving on a commission is a rewarding way to connect with your neighbors, share your voice, and help guide the future of our community. Meetings are on the 1st Tuesday of each month at 7:00 p.m.
No prior experience needed—just a willingness to participate and a passion for making a difference.
