Celebrate America's 250th anniversary with a week of free, family-friendly events in Normandy Park. From June 29 through July 3, the City of Normandy Park is hosting America 250 Celebration Week at City Hall Park, 801 SW 174th, featuring hands-on activities, crafts, history, and a community fireworks display.
Each event is free to attend, with supplies available while they last, making it a fun way for families to learn about America's history and celebrate Independence Day together.
All events are Family events. No Drop Offs.

Celebrate America's 250th anniversary with Betsy Ross and a slice of birthday cake. Guests can enjoy stories about the first American flag, a reading of the Declaration of Independence, and other patriotic activities celebrating the nation's birthday.
Pioneer Kids

Step back 250 years and experience life as an early American pioneer. Children can try pioneer chores, play traditional games, practice slate writing, and participate in hands-on historical activities.
Festive Eagle Craft & Bird Education

Create a patriotic eagle craft while learning about local birds from retired librarian and bird enthusiast Terre Salzer.
Bicycle Decorating Event
