Join SilverSounds for Rock & Roll Goes to Broadway, a lively concert taking place Saturday, April 18, and Sunday, April 19 at 2 p.m. at the Highline Performing Arts Center (401 S 152nd St., Burien).

This concert celebrates Broadway shows that incorporate rock and roll songs, such as "Grease" and "Beautiful: The Carole King Musical." You’ll be tapping your toes and singing along with songs like “Blue Suede Shoes” and “Thriller,” plus songs by Billy Joel and the Jersey Boys. You will be entertained by a choir, soloists, small ensembles, dancers, clever narration, humor, and just plain fun!

Tickets, available online or at the door, are $20 and FREE for those 17 & under accompanied by a paying adult.

SilverSounds Northwest is a fun mixed community chorus of 65 mostly-retired seniors who believe that you’re never too old to rock and roll! Known for their clever, themed concerts, SilverSounds loves to entertain audiences with solos, small ensembles, narration, acting, dance, and choreography. SilverSounds is the only senior chorus in the Greater Seattle Choral Consortium, regularly bringing the joy of music to retirement homes and assisted living facilities in the community.
