What will Highline-area voters be asked to decide this November, and what do they need to know before casting their ballots?
Highline Good Neighbors, a local community group that brings residents and leaders together for conversations about important public issues, will host its next Community Conversations event on Tuesday, Oct. 6.
Residents will have an opportunity to hear directly from elected officials and community leaders, consider different perspectives and ask their own questions.
The panel discussion will cover three initiatives sponsored by Let’s Go Washington, as well as Highline Public Schools’ bond and levy measures. One council member from each of Burien, Des Moines, SeaTac and Normandy Park has confirmed. School district, county, state, and community representatives have also been invited to attend.
Panelists will answer an opening round of questions from the moderator. The conversation will then open to the audience, with a microphone available for follow-up questions.
